Yaqan Nukiy Traditional Pow Wow

The Lower Kootenay Band, locally known as Yaqan Nukiy, were the original inhabitants of the Lower Kootenay area (Please see 'https://lowerkootenay.com/our-community/' for more information). The community hosts the annual Yaqan Nukiy Traditional Pow Wow during the Creston Blossom Festival.
